| Obituary | Surrounded by his children, Heidi, Lawrence, Lynn & Howard, our father passed away peacefully at his home in the Bahamas on Wednesday July 29, 2026.
He spent his entire life devoted to his family. He was a loving husband to his wife Frances of 52 years, committed Zaide to his grandchildren; Alanna Jeremy & Leslie, Jared Panteha Benjamin & James, Daniel, Max, Joe & Kenza and Harley. Although our father lived in the Bahamas, he was thoroughly engaged with his family which he described as the greatest accomplishment of his life. His sage advice and clear-eyed view of life’s challenges are gifts that we will carry with us forever. Our father was cared for by an extraordinary woman, Jennifer Castres. She brightened his days and was fully committed to his well-being. We thank her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 rue Jean -Talon Ouest, August 2nd at 12PM. Burial will held at the Spanish & Portuguese Cemetery, 1250 Chemin de la Fôret, Outrement. Shiva at his son’s house, Sunday through Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. |
